The old “new face” in the library
In front of the counter of the Kyobashi Library Regional Library, Chuo-ku, "Shinkai-san" lined up.
That's a newspaper cut!
In the age of the internet? If you think, don't underestimate it!
There are 9 genres in total!
Ginza Showa 31-
Kyobashi Showa 50-
From 50 years of Nihonbashi Showa
Tsukishima Showa 35-
Chuo-ku area 1976-
Tokyo Culture Exploration 1960-
Tokyo Theater Performing Arts from 1961
Tokyo Bay Coastal City, etc. from 1987
River in Tokyo from 1967
(From 4 newspapers: Asahi, Tokyo, Mainichi, Yomiuri Shimbun)
I didn’t know there were nine different genres...
Indeed, the gift of effort
There is a slight variation in the age when collection started, but the content is not only about Chuo-ku!
These steady efforts have been passed down from successive librarians. In order to grasp the area more deeply and widely, it is actually necessary to work even if it takes time. Because of the backed ability, there are people from various stations, program production companies, and from the Kansai area, etc., who can visit and consult with you.
The “new face” that was not hidden until now, but kept behind the archives is the result of the efforts of the librarians! !
The Ice Man?
By the way, the “new face” I was most impressed with was from two years ago.
When we guided a group of 10 people in the tourist guide to the cold misogi at Tepposhu Inari Shrine,
“Is there a lot more candy?” I read that I was a manufacturer whose headquarters is located in Chuo-ku.
I dared to talk about cup ice that was newly released in "Winter" two years ago.
“Why a new release in the cold?”
And everyone was interested, and "New Face" helped to provide topics in Chuo-ku.
Since then, it seems that I have been called "Ice People" in the group, and I am still contacting you with "Impressions of newly released ice cream".
We also share feedback from customers to acquaintances who work for the manufacturer.
You were not born without the new face.
Before walking around the city, please check out the articles of the district alone.
The guide will increase the thickness and confidence of the talk.
※The cup ice in the article is currently discontinued, so we have refrained from the details of the product.
