Alleys in Ginza: An alley with Toyo Iwaineari Shrine and automatic doors

In Ginza 7-chome, there is a long alley over 100m that connects Hanatsubaki-dori and Kojunsha-dori.

In this alley, "Toyo Iwaine Shiri Shrine" is enshrined quietly on the way, and there are three automatic doors in the middle of the alley, making it a unique alley that can pass through the door.

At the entrance from Hanatsubaki-dori, enter the side of SHISEIDO THE STORE from Ginza-dori and walk a little, and a stone monument written in red with "Toyo Iwaine Shiri Shrine" appears on the right side of the sidewalk, this is the entrance of the alley .

Entering this alley and walking along the hook-shaped alley, you will eventually encounter an alley that passes through Kinharu Street on the left, and Toyo Iwaine Shiri is enshrined at that corner.

This Toyo Iwaine Shiri Shrine is said to have been enshrined here since the early Edo period with Ukimochi god as a god of worship, and the current shrine hall was built in 1993.

Kabuki actor 15th Uzaemon Ichimura, a famous Kabuki actor from Taisho to Showa, prayed for the safety of his business at this shrine, and it is also known that Kabuki actors and other performing arts officials visited.

It is also famous for being visited by many women as God of love and relationships.

Don't turn left at the corner of Toyo Iwaine cargo, and if you go straight ahead, an automatic door will eventually appear in front.

And the door says "You can pass through" and you can go ahead.

If you pass through the first automatic door, you will cross the new alley of the Ginza Green Building, but when you open the second automatic door in front, you will enter the coffee shop.

If you go straight, you will find the third automatic door, and if you pass through it, you will leave the coffee shop and follow the alleys as before.

These automatic doors are automatic doors set up to leave this alley even after a new Ginza Green Building and a coffee shop is opened.

After passing through the three automatic doors and going further down the alley, you can see the lights ahead and get out to Kojunsha Street.

The entrance to Kojunsha Street will be between Ferragamo and the building currently under construction (tentative name: GB Building).
