We are looking for volunteers to pack paper crane wave bags.
- Chuo-ku Hospitality Project-
This is a rosemary sea, which covers "gifts and enjoy yourself" as a symbol.
"Folding Crane Recruitment" of "Folding Crane Webo Chuo-ku Hospitality Project" was introduced on November 6.
Origami Crane Wave-What is Chuo-ku Hospitality Project?
The Olympic and Paralympic Games are the world's largest festival of sports and peace.
In Chuo-ku, where the athlete's village, which is the center of the tournament, we will develop a "paper crane wave" to disseminate peace both domestically and internationally.
Origami Crane Wave is a hospitality initiative to pass paper cranes, a symbol of peace and Japanese culture, to those who visit Chuo-ku at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
After collecting paper cranes and packing them, they will be distributed to foreigners and other visitors at the time of the tournament.
In addition, we aim to spread efforts to fold cranes around the world through the paper cranes handed after the tournament, leading to permanent peace in the world.
Why don't you become a member of the Tokyo 2020 Games through the paper crane wave?
We look forward to your participation!
What is the current progress of the project?
As we introduced last time, the recruitment of paper cranes has been completed as scheduled at the end of December.
Paper cranes gathered not only in Chuo-ku, but also from other municipalities and other prefectures in Tokyo, bringing the total to over 100,000 birds.
Thank you very much for your participation.
By the way, this is the story of "Recruiting Bag Packed Volunteers".
In preparation for distributing the paper cranes collected this time to visitors at the time of the tournament, it is said that volunteers will be recruited to pack the paper crane wave original origami (upper image) along with the paper cranes and the guidance of this project.

The actual number is unknown because it was not counted, but I intend to put more than 60 birds, including the paper crane collection box at the Chuo-ku government office main government building and Nihonbashi special branch office.
I would like to watch this "bag packing volunteer".
Also, I would like to visit some venue.
And I wish you the success of this project.
