2020 Tepposhu Inari Shrine Setsubun Festival

2020 Tepposhu Inari Shrine Setsubun Festival

In the Edo period, Tepposu Inari Shrine was relocated to its current location by land readjustment in the early Meiji era as a shrine enshrined at the entrance of Edo Minato. The annual "Setsubun Festival" has been held since 16:00 on February 3, the day before spring.

Fuku bean-throwing ceremony Shinto ritual service, dressed in hakama and kimonos, appeared in Kagura Hall one after another after finishing his worship at main hall, saying, "The demon is so! Under the shout of "Fuku is Uchi!", Pay the demon and invite the fortune. When a large amount of fukuzu began to be sprinkled against the backdrop of the rhythm of Tepposhu Hayashi, which matches the bean-throwing ceremony played in Kagura Hall, the hands of many children with paper bags spread all at once. In front of Kagura Hall, a local fire brigade is wearing clothes and guarding crowds. There was also a lottery that could be exchanged for prizes, and the precincts were wrapped in lively shouts and enthusiasm.
