One week after the first place was over. After the rest period of the sumo wrestlers is over - the rest of the sumo wrestlers is said to be the week after this place and the day when the master's spirits were improved - on February 1, when the rehearsal was resumed, I took part in the sumo wrestlers' hot pot course. It is different from the "Sumo English Course" for foreign language tourism (interpreter) volunteers, which is currently presided over by the Chuo-ku Tourism Association.
In addition, this blog is written through the Chuo-ku Tourism Association with permission for the room.
I was born and raised in Higashinihombashi (former Nihonbashi Tachibanacho) and went to Hisamatsu Elementary School, but since the Kokugikan at that time was close to Kuramae, everyone was playing with sumo wrestling during elementary school breaks. . Also, go to the Kokugikan to see the parade of the winning wrestlers, and the Kuju room (the era before Yokozuna Chiyonofuji Seki and Kitakatsukaiseki-Mr. Fuji in the north of the commentator is now in Yokozuna) is in Asakusabashi. I loved sumo wrestling since I was a child, so I was excited to participate.

I entered the room after 8. It was during the training of the wrestlers in Makushita. Sumo practice begins early in the morning, but begins with the practice of a low-ranking wrestler.
Only Sekitori (ten cars and wrestlers in Makuuchi) can tighten the white turn in the rehearsal hall. The sumo wrestlers below the Makushita are black cotton.
The "Agreement" or "Third Training" initiative in the photo is a match between the white-turned Sekitori and the black-turned wrestlers below the curtain.
Unlike this place, you can visit the rehearsal hall right away, so you can hear the tremendous sound of "bachin" where wrestlers collide with each other, and it's amazing.
Currently, there are 11 wrestlers, Tokoyama-san and one event each in the Arashio room.
There are a lot of expected wrestlers in the room, but among them, "Wakatakamoto", "Wakamoto Motoharu", and "Wakatakakei" Seki are real brothers wrestlers. And it seems that the Yomata name was also named after the three arrows of Motonari Mouri, Takamoto Mori, Motoharu Kikkawa, and Takakage Kobayakawa.
"Wakatakakei" Seki has experience in the Makunai, and is now a ten-carrier, and is Sekitori along with Sokoku Raiseki. (The wrestler on the left side toward the white turn in the photo-the first place was 9 wins, but unfortunately it did not re-enter. Depending on the results of the Osaka place, it seems that you can re-enter it sufficiently. Do your best! 。 The opponent is his brother, Motoharu Wakamoto.

This practice is "collision practice". This is a practice in which the recipient wrestler is set up on the side of the ring, and the offensive wrestler pushes and pushes straight to the other side of the ring. When I asked Wakataka Keiseki at Chanko's seat, this practice seems to be the hardest. Certainly, as I practiced the bumping practice with No. 1 and No. 2, I understood that the wrestlers were breathing up.

This is where Sokoku Raiseki set it up with enthusiasm as a recipient. The offensivers are tough, but the recipients can withstand the push with enthusiasm.
This strict "collision practice" is the practice of closing the morning practice.
After that, we have a long-awaited breakfast in sumo wrestlers' hot pot. We also had breakfast with you.

It's salt sumo wrestlers' hot pot. Very delicious Chanko with plenty of vegetables such as chicken, shirataki, and Chinese cabbage.
In the summer, the "Summer Festival" will be held at Hamacho Park, but at this time there is also a chanko stall in the Arashio room, so you can eat this delicious salt chanko. Also, as an aside, during the lunch break at the All Japan tug of war Festival at Hamacho Gymnasium, a sumo wrestler in Arashio room and tug of war in Miss Chuo will be held as an exhibition.
In fact, the chanko in the room seems to have more than 10 flavors, so I would like to try other flavors too.
In addition to Chanko, the breakfast menu is Tonkatsu (it may be thought to be Tonkatsu from the morning, but it is crisp and delicious even though it is more than 1 cm thick!) There are also Satsuma-age, Morokyu (special wrestler miso), etc., and it seems that they are all handmade.
So, even if you quit the sumo wrestler and open a chanko Nabeya, it will prosper.

Well, this wrestler is "Tanji" who served everyone with dishes such as sumo wrestlers' hot pot today. While still in the second year of introduction, "Third Dan", a fan club has already been created. It's a very handsome guy, so if you go up to the top and sell your name, it may become popular.
I'm looking forward to it.

We had sumo wrestlers' hot pot first, but after the training, the sumo wrestlers took a bath and then tie the bun.
The one who has the bun is "Wakatakakei" Seki's older brother "Wakatakamoto". What is tied is "Tokomitsu" of Tokoyama. Breakfast starts after tying the bun.
While eating, I was able to talk in various ways with wrestlers, including "Aokunirai" Seki and "Wakatakakei" Seki, and had a very good time.
From now on, I would like to continue to support the Arashio room and wrestlers.
Awesome, Arashio room!
