Did you know that? Rooftop park in Chuo-ku

Hello. I'm Hanes, an active correspondent who has recently made the Imperial Palace run debut and is working toward the arrival of spring ^^
This time, I went to Sakuragawa Rooftop Park, Chuo-ku, which I had been worried about for a few years, but I haven't visited yet!

Introducing briefly for those who say, "Where is the park in the first place?"
This park is located on the rooftop between "Chuo Ward Women's Center Bouquet 21" and "Sakurabashi Daini Pumping Station" at Minato 1-chome.
There are two entrances from the ground floor: the bouquet 21 side and the pumping station side (the photo below shows the pumping station side).

In the park, there are lawn open space, playground equipment corner, pond, flower bed, gateball field, etc., and do you think that the park is quite substantial?

You can see the gateball field opened between the apartments!
The spacious park, where you can play without paying attention to cars and pedestrians, is very rare and valuable in areas relatively close to Ginza and Tsukiji.

There are also chairs that are perfect for enjoying reading quietly, and trash cans that are convenient for a petit picnic with your family.

In Chuo-ku, the Sumida River and the Nihonbashi River flow and the waterside environment is substantial, but there are places where they are not the waterside environment where children play.
However, the pond here is shallow, the water is clean, circulated without stagnation, and children can play safely!

In addition, it is also a feature that you can enjoy seasonal flowers.♪
At the time of the visit in early March, camellia was blooming, but roses and herbs can be seen in summer.

Personally, I was worried about Bulberry, which I didn't expect to be planted in Chuo-ku, and sometimes I decided to come to see the situation.
(I also learned that blueberries are azaleas, so I learned ^^)

In Chuo-ku, high buildings such as commercial facilities, tower apartments, and hotels are increasing.
When you walk around the town, your gaze tends to go to the first and second floors, but when you look at the rooftop, there are mysterious torii gates where you can not find answers in both the Internet and literature, and there are parks , You can make unexpected discoveries.♪
It is easy to walk down due to the spread of smartphones, but sometimes it may be easier to walk with your gaze high. ^
