　The current "Chuo-ku, Tokyo" was formed in 1947 by the integration of the former Nihonbashi-ku and the former Kyobashi-ku, but Nihonbashi-ku and Kyobashi-ku were established in 1878. It seems that the planner at that time considered the names of Beijiang To-ku and Minamiedo-ku. In other words, it seems that the idea was to consider the area of both Nihonbashi and Kyobashi wards as "Edo" and divide it into north and south into two wards.　At the time of the establishment of Chuo-ku in 1947 (the integration of both wards), it seems that there was a plan to name "Edo-ku" or "Oedo-ku".

　The cause of the problem such as notation is the inorganic and monthly name such as "Chuo-ku", and the name of Chuo-ku, Tokyo may have been better around "Oedo-ku". I feel like that.

　In the first place, Chuo-ku, Osaka is geographically located almost in the center of Osaka City, but even at the time of its establishment in 1947, the name "Chuo" in terms of location did not necessarily fit.
