The 8th of Uzuki is lucky day.

April 8th is the birthday of Buddha. At temples around the country, you can see statues of Buddha lifting their right hand standing in a sweet tea-filled Hanamido.

It is called the "Shubutsukai" and is an event described in the Nihon Shoki in ancient times.
Visitors pour sweet tea on the Buddha and celebrate their birthday.

It's a magical, sweet tea ink.
