In April, Uzuki is a beautiful season in which plants and plants sprout and feel the life of nature. In normal years, we are invited by soft sunlight and go to parks and green spaces. However, this year, the situation is completely changed due to unnecessary and urgent self-restraint to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. The Hamarikyu Garden is scheduled to be held from April 1 to May 6, 2020 Chuo-ku Flower and Green Gathering, which was a chance for residents of the ward to enter for free. However, due to the large number of infected person in COVID-19, the park is temporarily closed from March 28 to May 6.
About 100 cherry trees are planted in the Hamarikyu Onshi Garden. Looking at the park from the surrounding skyscrapers, the Yoshino cherry tree, which is mainly planted near the middle gate and beside the Nakano Bridge, has passed their peak, and this time it seems that the so-called "Satozakura", which is mainly planted on the shores of the pond from "Oden Bridge" to "Yokobori Bridge", has begun to bloom. There are many varieties that bloom brilliantly, and most of the ones called "Yae-zakura" belong to this group. In addition to the large pure white double white "White Myo", the white to light pink "Kazuha", the light red "Fugen Elephant", the red "Sekiyama", the yellow "Utsukin", the yellow "Yae-zakura". The petals are folded in multiple layers, and the branches are full of volume, and it feels a bit different from Yoshino cherry tree.
