There is a dog run (Dog Park in English) on the Sumida River Terrace. The official name is "Hamacho Wanwan Square". It is located just south (downstream) of Nishizume (Chuo-ku side) of Shinohashi. You can get off the Sumida River Terrace by stairs from Shinohashi, or get off at Sumida River Terrace from Hamacho Park and pass through Shinohashi.

If it was not near Shinohashi, but near Eitai Bridge, I think Tsunayoshi Tokugawa, who was called Inu Kokata, was pleased. It is said that Eitai Bridge was built to celebrate Tsunayoshi's 50 years old.

Dog runs are set up vertically along the Sumida River, and the upstream side (front side of the photo) is for small dogs, and the downstream side (back side of the photo) is for medium and large dogs. It is a little wider for medium and large dogs.

It seems that many people (dogs) are used at a fixed time, and I feel that they often meet the same user (dogs) depending on the time of day. I think it's compatible with dogs, so when making a dog run debut, I think it's better to know what time and what kind of dogs are there. This dog run is not wide, making it easier for dogs to approach each other. It is recommended because the early morning is vacant and the morning sun shines. However, be careful because it is hot in summer.
