Todaya Shoten, a long-established Tenugui wholesaler founded in 148 years.
Following the previous introduction on April 15th, this time we will introduce Tenugui and Yukata fabric.
Mr. Takuya Kobayashi, Sales Department Todaya Store Co., Ltd., also took care of this time.
This is the son of President Kenji Kobayashi, the current president of Todaya Shoten, and is the seventh generation of Todaya Shoten.

Kamio Edo Nihonbashi

Here are two Tenuguis, Nihonbashi.
"Edo Nihonbashi" is a collaboration of Tenugui with designer Shino Kamogawa.
Mr. Kamogawa is active as a "Kobogamo".
Tenugui is a writer who works on many books such as picture books.
It depicts the bustling hustle and bustle of the city and the bustling streets of Edo.
Five bridges, many long-established stores, expressive people.
The more you see it, the more fun Tenugui is dyed.
The color is also very refreshing.

"Soma's Furuuchi Ura" is a work covered by Kyoden Santo's "Tadagiden".

"Sukeroku Yuen Edo Sakura" is one of the 18th Kabuki performances.
It was premiered in 1714 in Yamamura-za, Edo.
"Yataka's figure" was introduced at the request of Rosmari.

I prepared a yukata designed by a Japanese painter, Kiyokata Kaburagi, who was a Japanese painter.
At that time, Yukata was the main business rather than Tenugui, so it seems that there was an episode with a famous celebrity for Yukatagarami.
In Tenugui, we offer a lot of rakugo stories.
It is distributed to those who want it or distributed to those involved. "
