Chuo-ku as seen from Rainbow Bridge
Hello. The active activity for a while is Hanes (Hanes) on holidays.
At a press conference on May 22, Governor Koike announced at a press conference that the declaration of a state of emergency was lifted and requests for leave were gradually eased, and that the Rainbow Bridge was turned red when the infected person increased and the Tokyo Alert was issued.
Rainbow Bridge is located outside Chuo-ku, but Harumi Wharf, where you can enjoy the view, is one of the popular spots in the city!
Therefore, this time, I would like to introduce "Chuo-ku from the Rainbow Bridge" as a sequel to the article "Chuo-ku from the Sky" in June 2018.
(* The photos shown in this article were taken before the announcement of the declaration of a state of emergency.)
Both high-rise apartments and ships are from a different angle!
First of all, I took a picture of Chuo-ku from Rainbow Bridge.
I've seen the Harumi area from Toyomi and Toyosu, but this is the first time I can see it over a wide area from Tokyo Bay.
As you can see from the photo below, the high-rise apartments in Harumi, Kachidoki, and Tsukuda still have a strong presence.
On the other hand, the buildings prepared for the international sports festival, which was postponed to 2021, have the impression that they are almost the same height, even though they are not high.
By the way, I would like to talk about the building this much and focus on the scenery that can only be enjoyed from a different angle.
The ships shown in the photo below are the Kaiyo Maru (right) of the Fisheries Agency and Kaiomaru (left), a training sailing ship of the Japan Maritime Education Organization.
Regarding the latter, in February, senior correspondent kimitaku enjoyed the male appearance of Harumi Wharf Nippon Maru, Akihiro Maru, and Kaiomaru. " I would like to introduce it.
This time, I wanted to take a closer look at the telephoto Kaiyomaru, which was going to the South Pole from November 2018 to March 2019 to investigate the distribution of Nankyoku killite!
(On Facebook of the Fisheries Agency, reports before departure and before returning to port are posted.)
Actually, I can't see the whole side well from Harumi Wharf.
If you want to have a clear picture of the whole picture as shown in the picture above, you can either get on a boat or use the Rainbow Bridge.
Last year NHK's "Darwin came!" With the introduction of this survey ship, some people may be relatively new in memory.
And there was a ship at the Toyomi Fisheries Wharf.♪
These are Shinyomaru (right) and Umitakamaru (left), which are ships that provide practical training and marine engineering education at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.
The former returned from the twelfth voyage, including Okinawa in mid-March, and the latter from the 59th voyage from Indonesia and Australia in early March.
In Chuo-ku, there are Ginza, which is home to famous overseas brands, and Tsukiji, where there was once a foreign settlement, and Harumi, which connects to the world through the sea, is also a charm of Chuo-ku.
(Chuo-ku is on the right. After all, the chimney at the Central Incineration Plant is expensive.
If you don't go out freely, you may feel depressed, but if you look at the ships sailing around the world, the blue sky, and the wide sea (Tokyo Bay), can you cheer up naturally?
At the time of writing this article (May 22), infected person in COVID-19 has been on a downward trend, but in Tokyo, declaration of a state of emergency is still being issued to refrain from going out.
May the rainbow-colored light-up day continue on the Rainbow Bridge after the declaration is lifted.
※Ships are not always anchored. Please include it in advance.
