A shrine with a quiet appearance that can be reached from Ningyocho Station. ④
~ Tokiwa Inari Shrine ~
This is a rosemary sea, which uniquely covers "gifts and enjoy yourself."
In the "Horitoru-cho Shrine" series, we introduced Sanko Inari Shrine on March 1 and April 3, Ise Inari Shrine on April 7, and Ikesu Shrine on April 9.
This series has been inherited and expanded, and renewed as a "Shrine with a quiet appearance that can be reached from Ningyocho Station" series, and the three shrines so far have been changed to 1.2.3 of this new series.
This time, I would like to introduce Tokiwa (Tokiwa) Inari Shrine as the fourth installment.
Then...
A long history

The Statue of Soden (Mizuhanokami)
In the middle of Muromachi, in the first year of Choroku (1457), when Michio Ota built Edo Castle, he received the spirit of Fushimi Inari Ogami in Kyoto.
This shrine, named "Tokiwa Inari", was recommended as a guardian deity of Edo Castle.
Later, the construction of Edo Castle castle was carried out by the Ieyasu Tokugawa Public Office and moved to the current Tokiwa Bridge.
As a result, the bridge that had previously been called "Ohashi" was renamed "Tokiwa Bridge".
Until the Holy Year (around 1751), shrine hall had a face value of Michio Ota.
In Yoshiwara, the name of the high name of the Ashi no Nagisa
The god of Tokiwa
It was said that there was a song.
After that, he moved to the Nihonbashi Fish Marketplace in the former Nagahama-cho, where the market guardian angel Mizukami Ogami (the Statue of Elephant) was enshrined in the shrine.
At that time, it was called a large market trading god, and it seems that a grand water god festival was held.
The festival, along with the Kanda festival Santenno Festival, was also a famous event of Oedo.
In 1901, Mizukami Ogami was transferred to the precincts of Kanda-jinja Shrine and renamed Mizu Shrine, and has been worshiped as a guardian deity of Tsukiji Market to this day.
After the Great Kanto Earthquake, it seems that it was relocated to this area again from the fish market in Nihonbashi.
The enshrined deity of Ubuchiyo Inari Shrine, which is enshrined at the shrine, is enshrined with two pillars of Ogami, the two pillars of the great power lord [Okuninushi only]).
Since ancient times, there has been a strong religion as a safe delivery guardian angel, and there were so many visitors.
In addition, it seems that there was a practice in which the cherry blossoms Wakagi were dedicated to the worship, and at that time, the fish market in Nihonbashi was said to have been full of cherry blossoms.

The famous long-established stores in Nihonbashi, including those in Japan, are among them.
Even if you say Nihonbashi Honmachi, it is the border with Nihonbashikobunacho.
At present, it looks like it is divided into National Route 4, but it is a shrine closely related to the Nihonbashi side where many of these long-established stores are located.
