"COVID-19" praying for the festival of Dango

I wish for the festival of Dango

May 5 is one of the five verses, the turn of the season, and the Dango Festival. Dango is the day of the first day of the month (5), and the Chinese tradition of exorcism was passed down to Japan on the day of Dango in May, which was regarded as a month of many disaster, and the birth of a child and an iris that was called to pay for the plague and disaster. It is said that customs such as decoration of May dolls and setting up carp streamers spread to the private sector during the Edo period.

At Tsukiji and Namiki Shrine, samurai picture banners and carp streamers are posted on the precincts, and the torii gates are decorated with five-color curtains. From May 1st to 5th, the "Dango Festival" will be held, and a "Kids Katsumori" award and "Handmade Koinobori Set" will be presented for a limited time, and a limited vermilion seal stamp will be given. On the occasion of the Dango Festival, I wish the children's healthy growth and the end of the COVID-19 disaster that swept the world as soon as possible, in light of the fact that they paid out the plague and prayed for health.
