In a fast-changing modern era, don't you feel like you can live a calm and fulfilling life by dare using high-quality things for a long time?

I think that many people think of U.K. London, but Laura Ashley, which is popular among women in Japan, is a designer from Wales, and Macintosh (MACKINTOSH), which has strong support from men as a three major court brand, is made by a designer from Scotland.

In the design world, designers from Scotland have been active, and as in this case, the opportunity to experience the sophisticated design of Scotland, where unique traditions and culture are rich, is very valuable.♪

At the BRITISH MADE Ginza store, on the first day of the pop-up, SCOTTISH NIGHT, where you can enjoy Scotland food and drinks free, was held.
Before talking about lifestyle brands, I would like to introduce some of the tastes of Scotland.

The first thing I received this time was DEENEY'S's Hagis Ball, whose mission is to let people know about Hagis, a traditional Scottish dish!
It seems that this is a special menu for this event *

If you are not familiar with it, you may think, "What is Hagisu?"
Haggis is a type of stuffed dish that is chopped with boiled sheep's visceral minced, oat, onion, and herbs, packed with beef fat in sheep's stomach and steamed.

If you literally receive it, you will hesitate to eat it, but it is the same as sausage in terms of stuffing!
It is often eaten as a sushi whiskey, but surprisingly it goes well with rice.♥

And Robert Burns, the lyricist of "Firefly Light (original title: Auld Lang Syne)" who is familiar in Japan, wrote the poem about Haggis, "Dedicated to Haggis (original title: Address to a Haggis)".
At Burns Night, which is held every year on January 25, it is decided to recit the poem, put a knife in Haggis, and divide it into guests.

Graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, LAURA SPRING. It features a combination of bold graphic prints and bright colors that have roots in Finland. )

NIKI FULTON (Works on neckwear such as Thailand and scarves in Edinburgh. His latest work expresses the nature of Scotland, inspired by the space found in ikebana, shrines and temples, and gardens that I met during my stay in Japan. )

PAULIN, a state-of-the-art designer watch based in Glasgow with the theme of the revival of the British watch industry. Founded by three sisters in 2013, it is now highly regarded worldwide, including the start of handling at long-established department stores and the Museum of Modern Art, which are purveyors of the royal family. )

TOM PIGEON (We work on jewelry items and stationery goods with impressive geometric shapes and bold colors. I am inspired by the sails of the yacht, the angle of the mast, reflection in the water, the color of ice cream, etc. found on the East Coast of Scotland.)
