In mid-May, Ginza Maronie Street The flowers of the Japanese tree are in full bloom.
Ginza is named after the flower from 1-chome to 8-chome.
1-chome is Ginza Sakura-dori St., 2-chome is Ginza Yanagi-dori St., and 3-chome is Ginza Marronnier Street.
The street between 3-chome and 4-chome is called Matsuya-dori, but dogwood in the United States is planted, and the next Harumi-dori St. is called zelkova, and between 5-chome and 6-chome is called "Miyuki-dori", a pure white pure flower called "Hitotsubatago", commonly known as "Nanjiyamonja". This "Ichiba Tago" seems to have bloomed from around May 5 to around 10. Between 6-chome and 7-chome, dogwood, 7-chome and 8-chome, "Izumo Tsubaki" is planted in connection with the Izumo clan, which undertook land reclamation and development in this area during the Edo period. For more information about this event, please refer to the following article.
From north to south, "Japanese linden tree" is planted on Namiki-dori St., and "Katsura" trees with heart-shaped leaves are planted on Ginza Street. Then, I would like to introduce some of the flowers of the Japanese cypress. At the place, a lot of Japanese tree trees are planted from Marronnier Gate to Showa-dori.
It also blooms beautifully on the north side of Ginza Matsuya.
I think the best time to see this year's flowers is from May 13 to 20.
If you are refraining from unnecessary and urgent outings, please enjoy the flowers in the photo.
The shape of the flower is a conical inflorescence-shaped pink flower
The Japanese cypress on Ginza Street is pink, but there are also white varieties elsewhere.
After all, the color of Ginza is pink.
