One main pillar of the gate bridge
One main pillar of the gate.
The place is across Harumi-dori St. from Tsukiji Outer Market, and there is one main pillar of the gate bridge.
The name of the bridge seems to be derived from Tsukiji Honganji, but I'm sorry I remember that this bridge was there.
It is a bridge that spans the Tsukiji River, and when you look at the nameplate, it says "Building the Reconstruction Bureau in June 1928", and it seems to be one of the earthquake reconstruction bridges with a deep history.
I think it is recent that it has been beautifully maintained surrounded by bamboo like this.
The photo above is from October last year (2019), and at this time, we often see sandbags, blue sheets, and construction sites.
There are tiger ropes, etc., and it may have been under construction.
Visit one of the history of Chuo-ku, such as when you come to Tsukiji Outer Market.
Tsukishima River Suimon Slope
By the way, the construction of the Sumida River Terrace Access Bridge (Tsukishima River Water Gate Slope) that I was looking forward to is done.
It may be affected by the recent coronavirus, and it has been extended again.
It is scheduled to be completed on July 1, and when I took this picture, there was a crane ship.
Maybe it's to remove the materials. I have a little more patience on my own.
