Attraction of GINZA SIX (1) Art of facade and atrium
GINZA SIX opened in April 2017, including the former Matsuzakaya Ginza store (Ginza 6-chome No. 10)
This is the largest commercial complex in the Ginza area created by redevelopment of the 11th).
The frontage facing Chuo-dori (Ginza-dori) is 115m.
It is almost consistent with 60 spaces (1 space is less than 2m) between Kyoto, which is the main frontage of the town in the Edo period.
And at this long frontage, there are six global brand stores, each of which is located.
It forms a facade (front of the building) with different designs.
The exterior of the building is designed by architect Yoshio Taniguchi, and this brand store facade is "Noren".
The image of the stainless steel line extending horizontally on the upper floor is the image of "Hisashi".
It's something.
Atrium space and art work
From the second floor to the fifth floor, there is a dynamic atrium space.
Art works by artists have been exhibited since the opening of the museum.
