It has been thought that various sins and uncleanness will occur in daily life. Therefore, Oharae began to purify sins and impurities in Chinowa and others. The origin of Chinowa Goguri is in Japanese mythology. The legend that "Susanoo-no-Mikoto gave Chinowa as a thank-you for the Somin future and was saved from the plague in the Somin future." It is about a 5-minute walk from Tsukishima Station on the Yurakucho Line and Toei Oedo Line, and participates in the summertime great exorcism at Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, guardian god in the Tsukishima area for the first time! About 40 people from men and women of all ages participated. First of all, write a name on a paper doll called "Katashiro", breathe in, and transfer your sins and filth to this katashiro. It is said that if you bring this to the shrine on the day of great exorcism, you will be purified of sins and uncleanness.
And great exorcism ritual over the summer starts! After great exorcism's congratulatory words, which purifies impurities and disaster, a finely cut white paper called "Kirifelicitation" is put on your body to purify it. Finally, Mr. chief priest tore the white cloth, and this eliminates the impurities for the first half.
On the way home, we had a red rice lunch box from Nihonbashi Benmatsu Sohonten, Japan's first catered lunch specialty store!
"Summer's Great Exorcism" was my first participation, but I feel that my body and heart were cleansed. The hot days continue, but let's do our best in the second half!
