Do you still catch goby at Tsukuda moat?
I'm Onkichi, Senior Managing Director of Hikoharu Co., Ltd. I've been worried for a long time, but is it still possible to catch goby at Tsukuda moat, which is famous for being able to catch a lot of goby?
This project is to actually fish yourself and conduct a survey.
Even though there are few remaining in July, the rainy season has not yet opened in Tokyo. On the day of the fishing survey, it was the worst weather because heavy rain fell and stopped in the morning. I thought about the postponement, but in the afternoon it somehow rained, so I immediately headed to Tsukuda moat.
Fortunately, it was raining in the morning, so there were only three anglers, and 13:20 I started fishing on the other side of the river.
Before that, I would like to briefly explain how to fish that I am challenging this time.
This fishing is called "Miyaku fishing". It is a simple one in fishing, and as you can see from the picture, the line is attached with a mot and a needle. It is fishing that attaches this mot to the bottom and lifts it with the bottom with the mot and feels the goby that feeds on the needle below it. Therefore, it is said that it is called "Miyaku fishing" because it reads the veins of the fish (Miyaku). In addition, this bait uses boiled scallops sold at supermarkets around that area.
If this is the case, women who are not good at feeding can enjoy fishing.
I lifted the long-awaited first animal about 5 minutes after I started fishing. It's a pretty true goby.
Well, following this, bravely put out the pole, but there is no goby.
"Okay, the needle might be too big for goby," I sizing the needle from No. 5 to No. 3.5, and the reading continued to lift eight.
(I think the black-brown fish in front of the photo is "Numachibu")
However, after that, it was the time of the tide, and the area did not continue. Around 15:30, local little fishers came out, and more than 10 fishermen, including me, were hanging threads at Tsukuda moat.
This is the average size of this fishing line. The goby will be bigger from now on. It's going to be in the future.
After that, I lifted some gobys and put them on a pole at 16:00. After all, it was 13 animals in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
I fished at Tsukudabori for the first time this time, and noticed that there was such a good fishing spot near here. I couldn't take a picture, but there are many fish and animals in Tsukuda moat.
While I was fishing, I was able to see creatures such as Shingoby, Numachichibu, Ina (fry of mullets), turtles, ducks, and herons. Tsukuda moat was really an oasis in a big city.
By the way, I'm worried about what happened to the goby you caught.
Of course, I took it home and dropped my head and internal organs before frying it. Thanks to the goby, I enjoyed it at my own risk (laughs).
"Cheers to Tsukuda moat!"
