It's a zone just after entering the front entrance "Ote-mon gate".

①300 years old pine
A large tree of black pine. You can feel the history of the garden in its size.

②Gangi (stairy dock)
Because it is a staircase, it is a dock where you can get on and off even if the height of the water changes due to the difference in tide. It is unique to the tide pond (a pond taken from the sea).

③Bairin Flower Field
Plum is a stockpiling of food in case of emergency. It is said that plum cultivation was preferred in Samurai residence. You can enjoy plums and canola flower in early spring, cherry blossoms and cosmos depending on the season.

※"3 Bairin Flower Field" is a little far away, so it may be better to stop by at the end of the garden.

It is a zone where restored teahouses are lined up.
You can feel that this garden, which was a general's lower house (a third house that was not a second house), was used for falconry and entertainment.

④Ochiyaya of the hawk … A resting place during falconry. It is characterized by the fact that you can tour without taking off your footwear. It's easy for foreign customers to take with you.

○Ochiyaya of Tsubame … The roof made of layered wood (Japanese Spanish mackerel wood kokerached) is impressive. ※The internal release date is Thursday (as of January 2020)

Pine Ochiyaya … A teahouse in Shoin-zukuri Architecture, Sukiya style. The expensive building materials and highly designed interiors (different shelves, circular windows, nail hides, etc.) are worth seeing. In particular, I recommend the afternoon on a sunny winter day. The sunlight reflected on the surface of the pond passes through the watermark on the ranma board (a staggered watermark carved) and reflects the silhouette of a staggered light on the wall. You will be caught by the sight of the swaying birds. By all means on Thursday, when the inside is open to the public (* as of January 2020).

⑧Pond of tide … I recommend it! A superb view. It is on the left side after crossing the legendary bridge (crank-shaped bridge).

⑨The view from Mt. … Tsukiyama (artificially built mountain) is a standard of Daimyo Garden. The view from artificial hill is iron plate.

That's the sea. It is a zone where you can feel the sea breeze.

⑪Water intake … Even now, the pond water is drawn from the sea. Fish coming in from here may grow in the pond and become unable to get out of the intake.

⑫Seaside scenery … You can also see the Rainbow Bridge. The boat comes in from the sluice gate. Sit down on the bench and relax.

⑬Water bus … After strolling through the Hamarikyu Gardens, go to Odaiba and Asakusa. It's good to travel by boat while feeling the sea breeze.
