Naozane Kumagai was a servant of Minamoto no Yoritomo who was familiar with Kabuki from the late Heian period (1141) to the early Kamakura period (1207), and is famous as a battle against Ichinoya, "Heike Monogatari Atsumori Last".

As a shrine related to Naozane Kumagai, it was a shrine that has been carefully protected for over 800 years.
