Dedicated to Dayu Takao-Takao Inari Shrine Reitaisai festival
The "Takao Inari Shrine" Reitaisai festival, which was introduced on the July 2019 blog, was held by Hakozaki Kita Niihori Town Association on the 5th. Taiyu, the highest prostitute during the Edo period, the second generation Dayu Takao did not follow the intention of Tsunamune Date in Sendai feudal lord, but was hung and slashed on a boat floating on the Sumida River, and the body flowed down the Nihonbashi River. It was enshrined here as Daimyojin Inari Shrine. Currently, the name of the town is Nihonbashihakozakicho, but the name of the town council has a remnant of Kita-Shinboricho.
divine spirit is the remains of Dayu Takao, which is not always seen, but this year's festival was special and had urns. The reason is that the building where Inari Shrine is located will be rebuilt, so the festival in this area will be the last and will move nearby the next day.
I think it would have been regrettable that climbing up to "Tayu" would be such a end. Nevertheless, it has been carefully preserved by the people of the later world, and has also brought us benefits such as headache healing.
