Gather honey like honey!
Sweets event information that you can't miss this year
Hello. I'm Hanes, an active correspondent.
A while ago, May 20 was World Bee Day, which was set by the United Nations.
The purpose of this day is to call for a global approach to the protection of bees that transmit pollen, but it has just begun to be celebrated last year (2018)!
In Japan, March 8 is regarded as "bee day" due to word matching, but why is "World Honeybee Day" May 20?
According to the United Nations website above, the birthday of Slovenia Anton Janša (Anton Yansha), a pioneer in modern beekeeping in the 18th century, was set on World Bee Day.
It also praises bees, a hard worker who was hardly conscious until then, so this may increase interest in bees worldwide.
Ginza Bee Project
Here in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, the "Ginza Bee Project" has been conducted by volunteers working around Ginza since 2006, prior to the enactment of "World Bee Day".
In this blog, Ginzo and other correspondents have introduced this project, so you can visit the rooftop with a bee farm and Be Garden, and in Ginza, sweets using Ginza honey etc. I think that the fact that Ginza is being sold gradually has become established.
Limited to 30 pieces per day! Ginza Honey Daifuku
Menus using Ginza honey may be offered for a limited time at the event, but some items can be purchased even during normal times.
As one of them, this time we will introduce Ginza Akebono's "Ginza Honey Daifuku" (240 yen excluding tax)!
This Daifuku is limited to the Matsuya Ginza store, and is limited to 30 pieces a day.
As soon as it was lunch break, I visited this store and I was able to purchase it safely. ^^♪
Daifuku is small, but one is very satisfying.
The melting honey jelly is wrapped in white bean paste, and it is a higher-grade rich taste that you have never tasted before.
It goes well with black tea, so it may be good for Japanese and Western eclectic Afternoon Tea.
Since you can purchase from one piece, it is also nice to be able to select the number according to the situation, such as for yourself, for family, and souvenirs in Ginza!
It is a limited item that can only be purchased here, so it will add a special feeling as a souvenir.♪
