Until 34 years ago, a very beautiful building, the Imperial Mama Building, was built in Kitazume, Nihonbashi. It was loved as a landmark building that appeared in many of the old postcards on the theme of Nihonbashi.

Kingo Tatsuno, known at the main building of the Bank of Japan and Tokyo Station, was designed by Dr. He also works on the elegant Shibusawa House along the Nihonbashi River.

Imperial hemp was founded in 1907 in Meiji 40 (1907), and the headquarters "Aka Brick Building" was established eight years later. Daiei Fudosan moved to a building that survived the fire by air raids and saw post-war reconstruction in 1958, but was dismantled in 1987 due to aging. The company rebuilt the building with the same layout on the same site and is still using it.

A precision 1/24 miniature is on display in the lobby on the first floor. This was restored by the company after taking over what was used to shoot "Always 3-chome sunset".
