"Takao Kouya" was selected from the character of "tail" at Tamao Inari Shrine.

In the story, the word "tama" in the pond appears in the story, so I thought that "tama" and "tail" would be aligned.

Daio Takao ...

"Tayu" is the highest rank of prostitutes. And "Takao" is a famous place that has been handed down from generation to generation by Miuraya, the best geisha in Yoshiwara.

Rakugo story "Takao" ...

It is usually also called "Sendai Takao" and refers to the story of Prince Sendai and Daio Takao.

However, the plot of this story is completely different from this "Takao Konya" and is not a happy ending.

In addition, the story of Seizo, the servant of the mochi shop in Nihonbashibakurocho, and the story of Tayu Ikuyo of Yoshiwara Ebiya, "Ikuyo Mochi", is also very similar to this story "Takao Konya".

It is very similar to the fact that a rice cake shop was opened in Ryogoku Hirokoji and flourished.

"Takao Konya"

Exit the Hisamatsu Police Station / Meijiza side (not the Ningyocho intersection side) at Exit A4 of Ningyocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line / Toei Asakusa Line and go to the right.
