One year of new correspondent Hanes (Guide Events)
Hello. It is Hanes, an active correspondent who has changed the new correspondent. ^
Following the previous “One Year of New Correspondent Hanes (Blog / Radio)”, I would like to introduce some of our correspondent activities through guides and events I experienced as correspondents.♪
Bus Guide (Marugoto Museum, Chuo-ku)
At the Marugoto Museum in Chuo-ku held in November, I took a bus twice and guided me as a newcomer.
The ride time is a little longer than a university lecture, and in addition to events and access information, preparations are repeated to convey the gourmet and location information of Chuo-ku, as well as the history and culture of Chuo-ku that is invisible. I am impressed.
Please see here for an article summarizing the experience of that time.

"Knowing the real thing, Edo Town Walk Tour" Guide
After completing the training of the guide, we provided a guide at Tsukiji (Japanese) and a tour support in Ginza (English).
My past guide experience was a lot of inside the facility and I was not from Tokyo, so honestly uneasy was much greater. ́`
However, because of the desire to "I want customers to come again!", In the production week, walk the course every morning before going to work and practice the guide!
As a result, we were able to increase our knowledge, prepare multiple courses tailored to the needs of our customers, grasp the time required for each location, and we were able to enter the production with plenty of time.◎
After finishing the first guide, we will clarify the points we want to continue and reflect on, and we will work to improve hospitality and guide content for another opportunity*
Tour support is in charge of reception, guidance, hearing, etc. in English, and from senior guides who are familiar with hospitality using English, there are many things such as appropriate English expressions and ideas from overseas perspectives. I was able to do it happily while learning.
For the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the number of tourists visiting Japan is expected to increase, so I would like to make use of what I have learned here on another occasion ^ ^
Special event for correspondents
This is an event held for correspondents rather than an activity, where you can visit places that are not usually open to the public and appreciate traditional performing arts.
It was the first time for me to meet other correspondents, and I still remember it impressively.
From the common point of being the same correspondent, I was naturally close to each other, and I was able to talk variously while meeting each other for the first time.
I look forward to interacting with many correspondents this year through events and other events.♪
What is the composition of correspondents?
Well, I've been focusing on correspondent activities so far, but it's probably among the readers...."I wonder what kind of people correspondents are made up of!"
For such a person, if you express what the newcomer felt in a year in a word, "The correspondent is surely composed of more diverse members than you think."
If you introduce the features a little more in detail, it will be as follows.
①It goes beyond the boundaries of the culture.
History, culture, and tourism are the image of the literary system, but there are not many sciences in Balibari!
②Wide range of age groups
③Various places of origin
Of course, there are people born and raised in Chuo-ku, but there are many people who come to Tokyo.
④Various careers and hobbies
And if you have a correspondent who is particularly interested, please check out the profile of the correspondent (author) posted on this blog after the renewal.♪
Towards Activities in FY2019
Looking back on my year as a new correspondent, I was taken care of by so many people, such as the Chuo-ku Tourism Association, correspondents, Chuo FM, interviews, events and tour-related people.
Correspondents have many more rewarding activities than they thought, and I think that it is because of this activity that I was able to spend a fulfilling year ^ ^♥
Not only did I deepen my insight about Chuo-ku, but I also studied a lot as a member of society.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you. Thank you very much!
And in fiscal 2019, the second year, we will not forget the beginning, just like "newcomers", and aim to contribute to the community through the correspondent blog, (2) further exchange with correspondents, and (3) expand the range of activities.
We are still inexperienced, but we look forward to your continued support*
