In Akashicho, Chuo-ku, where many historical sites related to Civilization and enlightenment remain, there is a monument engraved with the title "Telegraph Creation Land Monument."
Back in 1869, a temporary construction of a telegraph line of about 32 km connecting the "transfer board station" at Tsukiji Unjo and the Yokohama Court began.
On December 25, 2013, we started Japan's first public telecommunications service.
(It is said that the first Japanese saw the real telegraph in 1854, when the Perry fleet made its second visit.)

Although I went to see this monument many times, the moon flowed without investigating whether there was a similar monument on the Yokohama side. .
However, for some reason, I knew there was a monument on the Yokohama side, so I thought, but immediately went to the site with lucky day!
