Eiichi Shibusawa's study turned into a bar, "Library Bar Aobuchi Ao"-K5

"Mid-day spritz" is available at the bottom of Saturday afternoon, and "Toto Toshijiki" is open. The place is Bar Ao in Kabuto-cho K5. Due to the fast time, it is reserved. I spend a very luxurious time in front of the bookcase of a good selection of hobbies.

This is a complex building called K5, which opened in February this year, such as a hotel, restaurant bar, and cafe, and is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has finally begun full-scale operations.

This K5 building was originally built in 1923 as an annex to Daiichi National Bank, and my bar now was Eiichi Shibusawa's study and office.

At the end of last month, I was in charge of the city walking guide for "Tracing the face of the new 10,000 yen bill and the footprints of Eiichi Shibusawa", which was planned and proposed at the "Waku Waku Tour", and introduced this building. This is the first time I actually visit. It's open on Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00. Both carpets and sofas are crimson velvet, moist and calm spaces, and you can imagine that the study of the Meiji Taisho era was like this. On the wall, books of various genres such as exhibition catalogs, art books, geographies, non-fictions, novels, and photo books are lined up. With the words, "Please pick up the books and see them freely," I just decided to go to the library. I found a few books in my house and I was very familiar with it. When asked, it seems that the librarian is "a selection that seems to be in the study of Shibusawa".

The first black tea "Red Fuuki" is from Nara, and you can also enjoy tea and sweets on Saturdays and Sundays. The cocktails are mostly original, and the naming is said to be derived from Eiichi Shibusawa.

The name K5 also means "K in Kabuto-cho", "5 in the 5th Heiwa Building" and "5 in the 5th Heiwa Building" and "Collaboration of 5 companies such as Hotel Bar Cafe". Ao reads Eiichi Shibusawa's issue "Aobuchi" as Ao. Thanks to the shop, I took a picture of the inside.

In the second part of 12/9, can you guide K5 with a real feeling? I have a feeling that it is likely to be soaked on Saturdays and Sundays due to its cozyness.
