Chuo-ku-ku-December edition with birth flowers
Hello. I'm Hanes, an active correspondent.
It's only about 20 days to leave in no time this year.
In December, dead trees stand out, and the flowers that were in full bloom from summer to autumn disappear, and there is an image that is a bit lonely, but the "City of Flowers" Chuo-ku is different!
This time, under the theme of birth flowers, we will introduce seasonal flowers that can be enjoyed in Chuo-ku.♪
[Assumptions of this series]
・There are variations in the birth flowers and their flower language assigned to the 365th. In this series, we refer to the birth flower and flower language published in Hibiya Flowerbed's "Birth Flower / Flower Language on the 365th".
・We aim to introduce flowers that anyone can enjoy freely even if they get tired. Therefore, general household gardens, paid gardens, limited-time events, and flowers found in florists are not eligible.
・It will be an introduction to the extent found by the author, so you may actually see more birth flowers.
Look for 31 kinds of flowers in December
December 3: Tsuwabuki (flower language "heart care")
@ Everywhere in the ward
It doesn't grow in the city of Ginza or Nihonbashi, but it's one of the flowers you often see in parks and roadsides.
It seems that the name comes from the fact that "Tsuyahabuki", which means "butter with glossy leaves", has become Tsuwabuki, and I usually shoot with focus on flowers, but this time until the leaves I tried to capture it!
December 5: Azalea (red) (flower language "self-control")
@ Harumi Island Triton Square
The signboard says the flowering season is from March to May, but it seems that it may bloom in winter.
A thing like an azalea that can be seen in the back is probably Azalea.... I will post this photo with hope that (laughs)
December 14: Nanten (Flower language "Mare and Happiness")
@ Everywhere in the ward
When you hear the red fruit, you can come up with Piracantha, Nanten, Manryo, and Senryo.
You can distinguish between fruits and fruits, and leaves, but thanks to the start of this birth flower series, I learned how to distinguish them.♪
Nanten has long been said to have good luck because it leads to "turning the trouble (difficulty) and making it fortune".
May the catastrophe caused by COVID-19 go away next year?...
December 17: Kiltanthus (flower language "Romantic")
@ Harumi Island Triton Square
This flower, which has 50 kinds of flowers, calls the English name "Fire Lily".
It is said that there are many fragrances, but I forgot to check what kind of fragrance it was.
I would like to check the scent next time!
(It's only here that I was shocked after returning home because I didn't focus on the flowers.)
December 19: Begonia (pink) (flower language "A confession of love")
@ Everywhere in the ward
It is no exaggeration to say that Begonia can be found in the ward all year round.
Cute flowers are blooming in various places, such as the city, the open space of condominiums, parks, etc.
December 21: Nioi banmatsuri (flower language "Joy of Youth")
@ Horidome Children's Park (photographed in early July)
Some of you may have guessed from the name, but it smells very good at night....
I'm looking forward to checking the scent when it blooms next year.♪
December 23: Yuri Ops Daisy (flower language "Enman")
@ Everywhere in the ward
The flowers in the photo were taken near Kameshima Bridge, but this is also one of the flowers that can be enjoyed in a wide area in the city like Tsuwabuki.
It looks like winter somewhere, probably because of soft white hair on the leaves and stems.
December 25: Christmas parade (flower language "Hakuai")
@ Harumi Island Triton Square
A lot of flowers come out during the Christmas season.
The flowers as of early December were white, but they gradually became gentle pink.♪
December 29: Hiiragimochi (flower language "Seiren")
@ Sakuragawa Rooftop Park
It is a plant that is also known as "Christmas Holly" and "Chinese Holly", and the information board at Sakuragawa Rooftop Park was written as "Shinna Hiiragi".
It is characterized by red fruits that can be used in Christmas wreaths.
I thought that the number of brightly colored plants would decrease in winter, and it was confirmed that Nanten and holly mochi with red fruits, Tsuwabuki and Yuriops Daisy that bloom yellow flowers, and other gentle pink flowers are blooming .
In Chuo-ku in winter, you can see flowers and fruits of various colors without losing the colorful Christmas illuminations!
Yeah
This time, we were able to find 9 out of 31 birth flowers in December.
Six months ago when I started this series, I thought, "Would you like to find two or three types in a month in winter?", But Chuo-ku betrayed my expectations in a good way?
However, winter is still in the early stages. January and February are the time of the game.
I hope to have fun to increase the knowledge of flowers next year.♪
