Genji-Hira-related spots in Chuo-ku that reminds you of the Middle Ages
Hello. The active activity is Hanes on holidays.
I think Chuo-ku has a strong image of an area where history and culture since the Edo period live, but in fact there are also spots related to Genji and Taira.♪
If you can't believe it at a glance, why don't you go around such a spot where you can think of the Middle Ages today?
A kite museum
At the end of January 1184 (old calendar), cloistered Emperor Goshirakawa ordered Minamoto no Yoritomo to defeat the Heike.
Shortly after that, I entered Genpei war in Ichinoya, Settsu country!
In the early morning of February 7, during Taira's carelessness, Yoshitsune and others won the Genji army due to the sudden fall of Hiyodorigoe, and Taira was forced to lose to the sea.
At this time, Genji's warlord Naozane Kumagai, who was formerly attached to Mr. Tairano, defeats Tairano, a young warrior of Taira while hurting his heart.
Naoto actually suffered deep wounds in his heart, and later went home.
The time of defeating Atsumori was depicted in Sosuke Namiki's Joruri "Ichitani Nenki" and is also performed as Kabuki.
The battle, which has been handed down to the present day, is also depicted in the Edo corner kite "Ichinoya Battle" and is held in the "Kite Museum" in Nihonbashi Muromachi.
This time, let's enjoy the kite, which is also called a masterpiece online.

Handing of armor
Next is the handing of armor with an explanatory version installed at the foot of the armor bridge over the Nihonbashi River.
During the Heian period, Yoshiie Minamotono was on the way to attack Oshu, and suffered a storm on the river and boat that were here at that time.
At that time, when I cast a territory of armor into the sea and prayed to Ryujin, there is a legend that I was able to cross safely.
In terms of Genpei, it is also known as the place where Taira no Masakado placed armor and helmets.
This ferry completed its role in the construction of an armor bridge in 1872 (1872), but the scenery is also depicted in the Edo Famous Zoukai, etc., and Wachotei Kunimori wrote, "I am the armor who will return to fair."
The statue of Benkei in the Kanjin Book
Walking along the Hamacho Ryokudo near amazake Yokocho, you will see the statue of Benkei in Kanjincho.
The Edo period. There were Nakamuraza and Ichimura-za, which are theaters of the government, around Nihonbashi Ningyocho, where Kabuki was performed and prospered.
Due to such a connection with Kabuki, when the green road was renovated, the statue of Benkei, a popular Kanjincho, was set up in Kabuki Eighteen.
Benkei was a monk soldier who served Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and was featured as a spot related to Genji and Taira.
If you would like to go one step further about this statue, please refer to the article "Newcomer and Ningyocho 10 Years Considering Ningyocho 1-Benkei Statue-" by senior correspondent rosemary sea.
Inari, Kumagaya Shrine
The last is Kumagaya Inari Shrine, which sits quietly in Ginza.
When you hear Kumagaya, some people may already know it.
Yes, this shrine is related to the aforementioned Genji warlord Naozane Kumagai.
When Genpei war was over and on the way from Kamakura to the present Kumagaya City, Naomi was given the god of protection as requested by the people of this area.
Please see the photo above for the religion since the Edo period and the history up to the present.
Kintaro Takemoto, the head of the town fire extinguisher "Mogumi", fled the war, and is also known as the god of fire prevention, good luck, and thriving business.
Yeah
This time, I briefly introduced Genji and Taira related spots, but how was it?
Some of you may find unexpected discoveries, and others may think, "Let's find more related spots!"
If you can go sightseeing with peace of mind, please come and look for it.♪
