Sunrise and sunset from Chuo-ku to enjoy avoiding crowds

Happy new year! I'm Hanes, an active correspondent.
A new year has begun, how are you all going?
This time it's "quiet year-end and New Year holidays", so some people may decide to shift the time ahead of homecoming, new year worshipping and New Year's sale.
I'm going to stay away from my active activities and spend an adult life.

However, even in such a situation, it would be nice if you could worship without crowds!
When it comes to sunrise time, department stores and complexes with rooftop gardens and terraces are not yet open.
Nevertheless, there are a number of spots in Chuo-ku where you can enjoy the sunrise while avoiding crowds.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, the entire building is closed from December 26, 2020 to January 11, 2021.
So, where can we stay social distance and enjoy sunrise?
This time, we will introduce recommended spots for sunrise and sunset that can be enjoyed outdoors (outside the facility) with photos of sunset at the end of December 2020 taken from a bridge over the Sumida River.♪

It's okay if there is a building! Fantastic sunset selection

If you tried to take a picture of sunset or sunset from Chuo-ku during Magic Hour, you may have thought of it once.
"How can I take pictures of beautiful sunsets and sunsets from a place where many skyscrapers are lined up in the west?"
Needless to say, you can see beautiful scenery from department stores and commercial facilities with rooftop gardens and terraces, but if you avoid crowds and enjoy them from the ground, you may be bothering your head.

Therefore, I would like to recommend the Sumida River with a sense of openness.
It may be a little surprising, but you can enjoy a fantastic evening view from here.

This photo was taken from Chuo-ohashi Bridge to the north side just before sunset.
The moon floating in the gently colored sky, the "Messenger Statue", a futuristic cruise ship that slides on the water.
If you turn your gaze to the left, you will see Eitai Bridge and Sky Tree.

On the other hand, if you look at the south side, you can see the existence of the sun sinking in the back of high-rise buildings and tower apartments.

Next, let's look south from Kachidokibashi.
Depending on the angle, the sun can be seen between buildings, and the surrounding buildings and partially visible Tokyo Tower are reflected like silhouettes.

After a while, the lighting of Tsukiji Ohashi, which can be seen in the back, begins.
If you look at the sunset, you can't miss the appearance of being illuminated by blue or white.

These photos were taken in the middle of shopping, but there are many other people who are taking photos besides me!
Apparently, the sunset view from the bridge over the Sumida River seems to be one of the recommended spots to be recognized by others.

Surprisingly a secret! The light of the day bathed in Aioi Bridge

Just like the sunset, you can enjoy the sunrise from the bridge over the Sumida River.
Among them, I would like to recommend Aioi Bridge.
The reason is that the path of light looks beautiful and you can fully bathe the light of the sun!
Please note that a position of the sunrise changes to some extent in January, 2021.
You can enjoy it either from the bridge or from the promenade, which is maintained around the bridge.

At the end of December 2014, a senior correspondent Sumida Fireworks introduced in detail about the sunrise that can be enjoyed from the bridge over the Sumida River at "◆ The first sunrise from Sumida River in Chuo-ku, Tokyo".
Please take a look at it!

Last year, many people were forced to refrain from going out and work from home as a countermeasure against the COVID-19 infection, resulting in fewer opportunities to get exposed to the sunshine.
While paying attention to ultraviolet rays, it seems good to spend a lot of sunshine during the New Year holidays this year and refresh yourself.♪
I hope that 2021 will be a good year for all of you.
And this year, we will try to convey the charm of Chuo-ku from a unique perspective, so thank you!
