A famous "dorayaki" restaurant quietly standing near Hamacho Park
Near Hamacho Park and Kiyomasa Koji Temple, there is a dorayaki shop loved by locals, "Shigeru Chitsuki" (the nameplate is Mochizuki). For 73 years since he succeeded his father, who ran a Japanese confectionery shop in Ningyocho, Mochizuki, the owner, still bakes it in Hamacho.
Up to eight pieces can be burned at a time.
There are two copper plates that are not very large, and one is baking eight doughs (four pieces). Since it is baked by one person, the number that can be burned per day is "necessarily". Last year, when it was introduced on NHK's "Beauty Pot", it was said that a line of 20,30 people was formed in front of the store and was in trouble. I don't have any customers, so I'm grateful that there are no customers.
The photo inside the store was NG, but the colored paper of Ken Ogata (actor) was displayed. It seems that Mr. Ogata often enjoyed dorayaki because the rakugo artist Edoya Nekohachi's residence was right behind him, and Mr. Nekohachi's daughter was an attendant of Ogata.
This is dorayaki. A period.
The dorayaki of "Shigeru Chizuki" is large and about 10cm in diameter. Not too tight, but solid bean paste is sandwiched in a smooth dough that has been baked evenly. When I heard the features of "Shigeru Chizuki" dorayaki while rude to the shopkeeper, I was told that "I don't know." To tell me, it's a dorayaki that tells me, "I ate dorayaki" after eating it.
160 yen each. Raw materials are flour, sugar, water millet, red beans, and daiji (white beans). You don't use preservatives, so you should eat within 3 days.
Do you have any problems with business hours?
Business hours are from 9:30 to 18:30 on weekdays. However, I went three times during the business hours, but there was a bill saying "Today's business has ended." If a neighbor hadn't told me, "I can buy it by booking over the phone," I might have been dreamed of dorayaki now.
Check the phone number and make a reservation by the day before. 2-52-5, Nihonbashihamacho. A 2-minute walk from the side of Hamacho Park Kiyomasa Koji.
