Coloring the history of Kikyo
The seven herbs in autumn are written in the songs of Manyoshu and Okura Yamanoueno in Nara period, and are the seasonal words of Haiku. There are various theories of "Morning Flowers" in the song, such as "morning glory", "Kigeun", "Day face", and "Kikyo".
Kikyo is valued as a plant of "Yoshisara = further Yoshi", and the color of the flower is a traditional color that has continued since the Heian period as the color of clothing worn in autumn.
