The first time story-3
The beginning of the athletic meet
The beginning of the athletic meet is the Naval Army Dormitory. (Near the entrance on the Shimbashi Enbujo side of the National Cancer Center.)
It was broadcast on NHK's popular program, but I don't think it was mentioned in the Navy Dormitory.
On the left is the monument of the Naval Army Dormitory, on the right is the monument of the Naval Medical School.

The Beginning of the Western Navy
The beginning of the Western Navy was this warship training center.
After Perry's arrival, Edo shogunate recognized that the West Navy needed it to do navigation, artillery and warship operations here.
For the purpose of education here, we established the "Gunship Professor's Office" (later warship training center).
Beginning of Western-style hotels
The Tsukiji Hotel Building, a Western-style hotel exclusively for foreigners, was built on the site of the warship training center and opened in 1868.
Unfortunately, it was burned down in the great fire of 1872.
The Beginning of the Navy
There seem to be various theories about "the beginning of the Navy", but the monument "Hagiyama" with the Navy Sir flag is displayed.
It was on the edge of the cafeteria street until the Tsukiji Market was relocated.
This was just after the relocation of Tsukiji Market.
On the left, "Hagiyama" was enshrined at the back of "Mizu Shrine".
In the past, the water shrine was enshrined here in this way.
Tsukiji has not only a naval military dormitory, but also many naval facilities.
It is said that Edo Castle (Imperial Palace) was nearby in the innermost part of Tokyo Bay and was the most important place in Japan.
