Exciting tour around the gallery in Ginza
As a guide to the Chuo-ku Tourism Association "Tourist Hospitality Staff", I would like to introduce the two galleries in charge of this year's "Waku Waku Tour", which is a town walking tour.
Every year, the number of participants for each tour is 10, but due to COVID-19, the number of participants was 6 this year. Since the number of applicants is large every time, the winners are lucky.
I saw that there were many people who were interested in painting at the gallery.
Your role as a guide is to ensure that you are safe to bring your customers to the gallery. At the same time, I would like to introduce the cityscape of Ginza. The main guide will give a lecture while guiding the course to the gallery while touching not only the current Ginza but also the history of the Edo period and town planning, and the sub-guide will be attached to the rear in consideration of traffic safety.
This time, I served as a sub-guide for both times.

"Watabe Woodcut Art Gallery"
Ukiyo-e reprints and prints specialty store
On the first floor, we had a new print Hasui Kawase.
I visited the workshop on the 7th floor, which is not accessible to the general public. The reason why Ukiyo-e became famous worldwide was "Paris Expo" in 1867. At the end of the Edo period, I heard that Tokugawa shogunate collected nearly 10,000 ukiyo-e paintings and brought them to the Expo venue.
Even before that, Hokusai Manga was used as a paper wrapping pottery exported through the Netherlands, and its existence seems to have been known to some extent.
At present, there are only about 10 sculptors and surishi in Japan, and recently many women are aiming to pass on the sculptors and surishi.

"Tokyo Gallery"
It was opened in Ginza 8-chome in 1950 as Japan's first contemporary art gallery. We are pioneering contemporary Asian art in the world.
I am eager to hold exhibitions at art space venues in Tokyo and Beijing.
He mainly deals with contemporary art from Japan, Korea and China. You can meet unique art such as exhibitions that collect works that express geometrics.

"Yanagi Gallery"
The exhibition of Reiko Kitao Bontan was being held. I listened carefully to the explanation of the picture of the person living in France.
The reason why I incorporate the Isop story and Greek mythology into still life is that the Isop story is still a popular subject, and I was attracted to the fact that Greek mythology is similar to the Records of ancient matters story. Also, the watch that is always drawn expresses the time of mystery, and it seems that it is a look of the father of a French husband.

"Nichido Gallery"
Nichido Gallery is the oldest Western-style painter in Japan. When a participant asked why there were many galleries in Ginza, when building a building in 1931, "Because the office from the first floor will not lead to business prosperity," said Kiyoaki Awazu, the president of Nippon Movable Fire Insurance at the time, Japan's first Western-style painting dealer "Tokyo Gallery" (renamed "Nichido Gallery") was opened the following year. After that, there was a gallery on the first floor of a building that was built one after another.
At the 59th Mini-Yon Exhibition of Nichido Gallery, there are 400 pieces of gemstones of the expected new artist No. 4 (33.4 cm or less), including the master Leonard Fujita (Tsuguji Fujita), and the wall was gorgeous. It was decorated. Currently, there are more apartments in residences, but the gallery said that you would like to find the perfect treasure at home by all means.

"Shiminedo Gallery"
The primary focus is on "valuing the mind and eyes", and works that can be used as valuable works of art over time are introduced mainly by modern and contemporary artists.
This time it was a solo exhibition of "Keitaka Yamada". It seems that it was held at three locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Taipei at the same time. It seems to be the first attempt to show different works for each, not a traveling exhibition.

I would like you to plan a tour of my gallery and visit the gallery!
It is good news for those who think the threshold is high to enter the gallery. Each gallery asked the participants to visit this gallery, saying, "I don't have to buy a picture, so please feel free to visit the gallery." "First of all, I can't tell you if I don't see it in the gallery."
November 15 galleries also participated in the Marugoto Museum.
"Xmas Art Festa" 21 Gallery was held in December.
During other periods, the exhibition information is described on each gallery homepage, so please take care of your eyes while visiting "My Gallery".
