88 nights of new tea
May, when the wind was fragrant, this year, May 1 was the 88th day from Ritsuharu. There is a legend that "drinking a new tea picked on 88 nights will not get sick."
The tea tree planted around the Chanogi Shrine has sprout and dyes the area brightly colored. It is said that this green used to be wonderful, and it is the origin of its name.
In the usual year, the "Chanogi Shrine dedication ceremony and tea ceremony" is held, and new tea is dedicated, but this year it was canceled this year following last year. I'd like to drink new tea and have sound health.
