Notice of construction of Sumida River Terrace
This is for those who use the Sumida River Terrace.
There was a sign to close traffic for construction the other day, but construction began on February 24.
I can't pass some of them.
The construction section is from near the symbol tower of water level station on Reigishi Island to the side of Chuo-ohashi Bridge.
The construction period is scheduled until early August this year.
Under the Chuo-ohashi Bridge, traffic is closed like this.
There is also a signboard near water level station on Reigishi Island, which can be dropped on the Sumida River Terrace.
It's closed beyond that.
This section needs to be detoured. Seismic reinforcement work is carried out not only here, but also along the Sumida River Terrace and other places.
I often walk on the Sumida River terrace, but it's a short section, but it's fun to walk along the river.
Cherry blossoms are as usual
By the way, there is Kawazu cherry blossoms beside Chuo-ohashi Bridge mentioned above, which bloomed ahead of other cherry blossoms this year.
After the spring, the sun became softer, and on February 21, it was over 20 degrees in the city center and it was a bit hot to enjoy jogging and walking on the Sumida River Terrace.
Perhaps because of such cheerfulness, there is also early blooming cherry blossoms beside Eitai Bridge, but this year I feel a little earlier than usual.
In March, you will be in full bloom from Chuo-ohashi Bridge to Shinkawa Park on Eitai Bridge and cherry blossoms.
