Did you know that there is a small shrine called Ryujinsha in the precincts of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine in Tsukuda?
It is said that Ryu Shrine began in 1822 when it worshiped Tatsuhime Ogami, the god of water, in this area. Speaking of 1822, there is a record that heavy snowfall fell during the New Year in Edo, and that the snow exceeded one shaku (about 30 cm) overnight, so people who were worried about unseasonable weather and bad harvests prayed to the god of water. I guess.
Later, Ryujin, the Okami Okami, and the Great Benzaiten, which was enshrined as the guardian deity of Nihonbashi Shirakiya, were enshrined at the RyujinBenzaiten. Even today, worshipers continue to worship as gods with many virtues, such as good luck, rising fortune, thriving business, and fulfilling school work.

Ryujin Shrine's Reitaisai festival "Ryujin Festival" is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. on April 7 this year. It is said that festivals such as Shinto priesthood's dedication of Tamagushi and the performance of felicitation will be held for about 30 to 40 minutes with the attendance of the town council in Tsukuda.

On both April 6 (Sat) and April 7 (Sun), the Sakura Festival of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine is held, and there is a free entertainment of amazake and soup powder on the grounds from 11:00 to 15:00.

The Tsukuda Machikado Exhibition Hall, about a 2-minute walk from Ryu Shrine Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.
There are two pairs of lion heads (Ryutora and Kurokoma) designated as Tangible Cultural Property inhabitants of Chuo-ku.

According to the posted materials at the Machikado Exhibition Hall, the "Ryutora" on the left hand of Sennuki portable shrine is a very old one whose production date is unknown, and it has already been published in the "Toto Tokikikiki" issued in 1830. It was said that the existence was described.
It's a bit difficult to understand in the photo (sweat), but the left corner is a dragon head (male lion), and the tiger head (female lion) can see something like a mouse tail on the right.

There is a legend that this dragon tiger sprayed water when the stored warehouse was burned, and the tiger spited sand and extinguished the fire. It seems to be. When you hear that, you can get a very strong power just by looking at it.
