In memory of "Anpan" of Tsukiji Kimuraya, which closed on June 17, 2021, we collected round items from Chuo-ku.

Tsukiji Kimuraya opened in 1910 with goodwill from Kimuraya Sohonten. The specialty is "Keshi Ann", but personally, I liked "Gyuji Onion Curry Bread".
Ginza Kimuraya's "Sake Tane Anpan"

The original "Anpan", invented by Kimuraya (currently Kimuraya Sohonten) in 1874, is "Sakadane Anpan". Even now, bread dough is made from sake yeast cultured with rice and koji instead of yeast.
Shiose's "Shihose Manju"
![Shiose's "Shihose Manju" round one from Chuo-ku](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/img_data/CBLOGIMG2350_3_1.jpg?20210702121822)
Norinori Hayashi, the founder of the Shiose Sohonke (head office: Akashicho, Chuo-ku), who came to Japan from China in Sadawa 5 (1349). "Manju", which he created based on the hint of "Manto", which is packed and eaten in China, is said to be the ancestor of Japanese "Manju".
"Monjayaki" from Tsukishima
![Tsukishima's Monjayaki round one from Chuo-ku](https://en.tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/img_data/CBLOGIMG2350_4_1.jpg?20210702121822)
The delicious way of grilling Tsukishima's specialty "Monjayaki" is to make a round donut-shaped bank after baking the ingredients, pour the broth into it, and when the broth boils down the bank and mix it.…It's said to be a great place.
"Manhole cover" with azaleas and willows drawn

In 1987, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the central ward system, the flower of the ward was established in azaleas (including satsuki azalea) and the tree of the ward was established in willows. Some of the "manhole lids" for street light wiring in Chuo-ku are designed with azalea flowers and willow leaves.
“Japan Road Mark” in Nihonbashi

Nihonbashi became the starting point of the Gokaido in Keicho 9 (1604), and in the Meiji era, the center of the bridge was designated as the starting point of roads nationwide. In the center of the bridge roadway, a bronze original sign is embedded (there is a replica in the northwest bridge filling "the square of the original sign").
"Phoenix Maru" of Kabukiza Theater

Phoenix is an ancient spiritual bird of China. According to the official website of Kabukiza, one of the founders, Ouchi Fukuchi (Genichiro), liked the "Phoenix Maru (a round phoenix patterned pattern)", which was used for nails at home, and used for the Kabukiza crest. It seems to have been adopted.
"Young Clock Tower" in Sukiyabashi Park

In 1966, in commemoration of the independence of the Tokyo Sukiyabashi Lions Club from the Ginza Lions Club, Taro Okamoto's "Young Clock Tower" was set up at Sukiyabashi Park. The round face part of the work is a clock, and the guidelines look like eyebrows and beards depending on the time of day, and the expression of the face changes.

The first thing that comes to mind about the round thing in Ginza is the text board of the Wako Main Building Clock Tower.…。 A total of four clocks are installed on each side of the clock tower, east, west, north and south sides (the full-size replica of the text board can be seen at Seiko Museum Ginza).
There are still round things in Chuo-ku.
