The scenery where Monet was-Where is that place of "Okaeri Monet"? ~

The world is excited at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, but today is another matter, can you get a little bit nervous?
"Monet-chan is in Chuo-ku! ! 」
RIEdel who loves morning drama is the line that I have never wanted to shout since the beginning of "Okaeri Monet", in which actress Kaya Kiyohara plays the role of heroine. Finally, I've finally told you!
Oh, yes, yes…(*´Д`)
This time, we will introduce the scenery and buildings of Chuo-ku, which often appears in "Okaeri Monet", along with photos.
(Kaya Kiyohara was there), and if you look at it, it will double the fun.♪

Where did Monet get off the water bus on the first day of moving to Tokyo?

For those who do not know the serial TV novel "Okaeri Monet", I would like to introduce a brief outline of the drama, "Okaeri Monet" is a story about Momone Nagaura, born and raised on a small island off Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. (Nagauramone / commonly known as Monet) delivers a happy future to people through the work of weather forecasters.

Monet, who came to Tokyo to work as a weather forecaster, takes a water bus from Asakusa on the first day of moving to Tokyo. After enjoying the scenery of Tokyo such as the Tokyo Sky Tree and the Asahi Breweries Headquarters Building from the boat, she got off the water bus at the lower part of the Sumida River called "Akashicho (in front of St. Luka Garden) Pier".
Yes, the stage is from here in Chuo-ku!

The Cosmos, which the Monet might have been on, just off the shore.

Monet, who got off at the dock, begins to go north on the Sumida River Terrace, based on a smartphone map, aiming for a boarding house in Tokyo.
By the way, the destination of the map on Monet's smartphone was "Higashi Tsukiji, Chuo-ku", but this is a non-existent address. Considering that I moved north in front of St. Luke Garden, is it a setting that Shiomi-yu, the boarding place of Monet, is it located around Akashicho or Minato?
There are currently eight public baths in Chuo Ward, but there are no public baths with a classic appearance like the drama Shiomi-yu. The exterior of Shiomi-yu seems to have been photographed at a public bath in Ota-ku.

On the first day of moving to Tokyo, Monet was walking around the Sumida River Terrace with a yellow backpack on her back.

The bridge that spans Monet's way to work

Monet is busy on the first day of moving to Tokyo. After finishing the greeting to the boarding house, we will head for a preview to Weather Extract Parts, which will be interviewed the next day. At that time, Monet crossed Kachidokibashi in the photo.
In the drama, a shot from the Tsukiji side to the Kachidoki side and a shot taken from the reverse side continued.

When we crossed from Tsukiji to Kachidoki, Monet walked down the sidewalk downstream.

It was impressive to see him walking comfortably toward Kachidoki while looking up at the blue sky.

By the way, if you shoot with iPhone from the position where the photographer who was shooting from the Kachidoki side in the drama would have been, it will actually be ↓ like this. It's so far away!

Shooting from under the tower near Kachidoki toward Tsukiji

Looking at the broadcast video, the wall tiles of the tower (operation room) near Kachidoki are shown in front of the right hand, and the signboard of Kadoyama Honten Building in Tsukiji on the other side can be seen, and Monet's expression was also perfectly reflected, but such a picture was impossible on my iPhone. Laugh
The performance of video cameras and zoom lenses used in shooting TV dramas, and the shooting technology that captures the subject with focus from a distance. Both are amazing!

What is the building of Monet's workplace "Weather Extract Parts"?

Now, Monet's line in the drama suggests that her boarding house and workplace (Weather Extens Parts) are close to walking distance.
Where is that building in the setting where Weather Extract Parts are included?
Actually, that's the event space "CROSS DOCK HARUMI" in Harumi, right?
If Monet's boarding house was Akashicho, would it be about a 20-minute walk to this point? It's a pretty real setting.

Where can I shoot a three-piece arch from?

There was no Monet-chan, but in the drama, about twice, a triple arch over the Sumida River? An impressive bridge has appeared.
I would like to take a picture of that beautiful bridge! There may be somebody who thinks it.

Photographed from Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge

Yes, this is a picture taken at the same angle as the drama. You can see a stunning three-piece arch!
But this is not actually a triple arch, but a combination of the arch of Kachidokibashi and the arch of Tsukiji Ohashi.
Standing at Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, one upstream from Kachidokibashi, you can see a large arch of Tsukiji Ohashi from the two arches of Kachidokibashi like this, and it looks like a bridge of a three-link arch .
If you designed Tsukiji Ohashi, you must have drawn the arch line while imagining this scenery.
By the way, on the right side of the photo, you can see the landing in front of Akashicho and St. Luke Garden, which was first introduced.
Perhaps the Monet-chans were in the picture? (It's a lie, lol)

When the situation of the new coronavirus calms down, please come to Chuo-ku to see the scenery where Monet was!
