Former Harumi Railway Bridge in remain
The construction of a promenade was underway.
The former Harumi Railway Bridge was erected in 1957 on the Harumi Canal between Toyosu and Harumi as a line dedicated to the harbor railway Tokyo for the purpose of freight transportation, and was used until the first year of Heisei (1989). It is a bridge dedicated to railways.

This place, known as the Harumi Bridge, has been preserved for more than 30 years during the development of the waterfront, but is supposed to be used as promenade.
Details of maintenance and schedule
・February 1993-Reiwa 3: Substructure Seismic Retrofit (Harumi side)
・2013-2014: Seismic reinforcement of substructure (Toyosu side)
・Fiscal 2023 and beyond: Maintenance of superstructures and promenade
remain can know the characteristics of the land. While maintaining this historical value, we plan to build a barrier-free promenade around 2025.
◆Tokyo Port and Harbor Bureau
In April 2021 (Reiwa 3), the Tokyo Metropolitan Port and Harbor Bureau announced that the promenade bridge will be maintained while retaining its historical value after undergoing seismic reinforcement work and managed and operated as a facility for Harumi Bridge Park.
