I went to Hanamatsuri Ningyocho Great Kannon-ji Temple and Tsukiji Honganji Temple.
April 8 is the day when Historical Buddha was born, and the Hana Festival is held in Buddhism. Among the famous places in Chuo-ku, there are Okannonji in Ningyocho and Honganji in Tsukiji. This year, it was held at Daikanonji Temple on the 6th and Honganji Temple on the 7th.
Okanonji's Hanamatsuri
After irrigation sweet tea to Historical Buddha, go up the stairs leading to the main hall and worship. The main statue is the "Tetsuzo Bodhisattva Head" in Tangible Cultural Property designated by Tokyo, and it is said that only the head was dug out from an iron well in front of Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu in Kamakura during the Edo period. main deity opens on the 11th and 17th of every month.
We have sweets and tea, and speed lottery.
You can enjoy sweet tea and sweets when you finish your visit. Then you can draw lots that hit the masterpieces of Ningyocho Shopping Street. Luckily, I hit 3rd class. The right end of the photo is the prize. It feels like the whole town of Ningyocho is celebrating the festival.
Tsukiji Honganji Child Procession
Hinamatsuri at Tsukiji Honganji begins with a child procession. Following the cheerleader and brass band, children dressed in old costumes paraded around with a white elephant carrying a statue of Historical Buddha on their backs. In main hall, there was a majestic atmosphere.
There are shows, mock shops, mobile amusement parks and zoos on the grounds.
There were mock shops, amusement parks, zoos, wadaiko performances on stage, mask rider shows, police and fire departments, and so on.
A goat's partner at a mobile zoo
The SARU that loves animals goes to a mobile zoo. Rabbit, wander, chick, sheep, elephant turtle, leek snake, lizard, etc. Is the child scared because the figure is a bit large? I was dealing with a goat who seemed to be free because many people came in. Along with animals, this Honganji Temple has many animal and gods designs in the main hall. It's a great pleasure to look for it.
