Walk along the ruins of Tepposu River!

This project is also to walk along the ruins of a river that once existed in Chuo-ku.

And the river is the gunpowder river. The Tepposu River diverted near the current Minato 2-chome on the Sumida River, flowed through Akashicho, and joined the Akashibori on the Tsukiji River.

Gunsubashi, Kobashi, Mitobashi, Urahoribashi, and Shinminatobashi were bridged over the Gunsugawa River.

The Gun Sugawa River was reclaimed by 1929 as a reconstruction project after the earthquake, and is now the Gun Sudori Street.

Start the diversion point of the Sumida River and aim for the ruins of Akashibori on the Tsukiji River.

However, before that, I prayed for the success of walking around the city this time and visited Tepposu Inari Shrine.

A strange phenomenon occurred in this area, and from the bottom of the river

A single stone statue, a large number of human bones and tooth bones come out.

I did it. The human bones are located in the Kaikoin of both countries, and stone statues.

The teeth are buried in this land and memorialized."

There was a description.

Even now, the shrine is very cleanly managed.

It is gathering the faith of the neighbors.

I felt it.

And after St. Luke Street, you will see Akatsuki Park in Chuo Ward. I arrived at the site of Akashibori.

The ruins of Akashibori are now Akatsuki Park. In this city walk, traces of the Tepposu River could not be found. However, when I entered Akashicho from Minato, I noticed that the parcels of the city were clearly wider. Even today, Akashicho was a cityscape that made me feel that it was a foreign settlement.
