“TBSK Festival 2019”, a concert that crosses “Heisei” and “Reiwa” @ Harumi Dai-ichi Life Hall
Hello! I'm a second-year correspondent.
As a hobby, I play a musical instrument called viola (a musical instrument that makes the violin slightly larger), and on holidays, as an amateur player, I perform in orchestras and chamber music concerts and practice for that purpose But,
This time, the organization to which I belong will hold a concert for two consecutive days on the last day of Heisei (April 30, 2019) and the first day of Reiwa (May 1, 2019). .
And the venue is Dai-ichi Life Hall in Triton Square in Harumi, Chuo-ku!
In this regard, I would like to inform our blog readers on this occasion.
The performance will be sent in 4 parts for 2 days as follows.
All performances are free to enter, all seats are free, and you can enter and exit between songs, so you can feel free to come.
1. Chamber music performance centered on wind instruments (4/30 noon at 13:00 open at 13:20)
2. Large ensemble ensemble performance (4/30 Night at 17:30 Open at 18:00)
3. Chamber music performance centered on stringed instruments (5/1 noon at 13:00 open at 13:30)
4. Orchestra special performance (5/1 night part, 17:30 opens at 18:00)
What kind of group do you play?
This time, the amateur orchestra group "TBSK Orchestra" will be holding a series of concerts across the era in Harumi.
This orchestra was established in 2011, and is generally composed of active university (institution) students in their twenties and members of society.
People from various universities in the Tokyo metropolitan area gather and face music every day while hitting and polishing each other's diverse perspectives. Many members usually study and work in fields different from music, but they work hard while balancing them well.
Until now, in addition to regular concerts once or twice a year, as well as opera performances and overseas performances, I have also planned and experienced performances that are highly novel as an amateur orchestra.
And this concert will be a music festival across the era! It's a project full of momentum and fun.
Chamber music performance centered on wind instruments (4/30 noon)
At the beginning of the festival, we will deliver performances in relatively small formations (up to 7 people) by woodwind instruments (futle friends) and brass instruments (trumpet friends).

Large ensemble ensemble performance (4/30 night part)
On the last night of Heisei, it is smaller than the orchestra, but it will deliver a powerful performance with a relatively large organization (about 8 to 30 people).
Some ensembles consisted of only the same type of musical instruments, while others like small orchestras composed of various instruments, what kind of instruments come out? It is a concert that you can enjoy from the perspective of this.

Orchestra Special Performance (May 1 Night)
At the end of the festival, we will deliver a full performance of the entire orchestra.
In line with the theme of this project, we will play six works on the theme of "festivals".
Because of the "festival", in addition to string, woodwind, and brass instruments, various types of percussion instruments (such as drums and cymbals) also appear. Do you really want to get on the stage? It's so luxurious that there are rumors.
Of the six songs, one recommended from a Chuo-ku-like perspective is "Bon Odori" composed by Akira Ifukube, famous for Godzilla music.
Compared to the quiet and quaint "Tsukuda Island Bon Odori", it is a song full of energy, but it is a song full of energy.
What is the shape of expressing Japanese festivals in an orchestra that came in from West?
I think you can enjoy such a fusion of different cultures.

Enjoy access to Dai-ichi Life Hall
By the way, I've told you about the content of the music festival from the perspective of orchestra members so far.
Finally, I would like to tell you the access to the venue, Dai-ichi Life Hall, from the perspective of a correspondent in the Chuo-ku Tourism Association.
We suggest about 4 access methods.
●Shortest access …Cross the Triton Bridge from Kachidoki Station
The fastest way to get to Triton Square, where Dai-ichi Life Hall is located, is to get off at Kachidoki Station on the Toei Oedo Line. After exiting A2a, proceed along Harumi-dori St. toward Harumi, cross the Asashio Canal on the "Triton Bridge" with a moving path and roof, and arrive at Triton Square in less than 10 minutes.
●Access that touches the emotions of the Tsukishima area …Take a walk from Tsukishima Station
I want to go not only, but also enjoy the city of Chuo-ku.…The best way to get there is to get off at Tsukishima Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line and Toei Oedo Line.
Dai-ichi Life Hall from Tsukishima Station can be reached in about 15 to 20 minutes by crisp walk, but it is recommended to dare detour here!
Get out at the exit in the opposite direction from Triton Square, stroll along Tsukuda and Nishinaka-dori, and head while touching the downtown atmosphere.…How about that?
●Access to enjoy the scenery of Ginza and Tsukiji …Use buses from Tokyo Station, Ginza Station, etc.
Triton Square can be accessed by a local bus.
The "Tokyo 05-1" and "Tokyo 05-2" systems that exit from Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station lead to Triton Square while traveling through Harumi-dori St. via Sukiyabashi and Ginza 4-chome. It is very convenient.
In addition, the number of "Harumi Liner" from Yurakucho is smaller than the Tokyo 05 system, but there are few stops that stop on the way, so you can access it comfortably. There are also flights that go through Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit or Nihonbashi Takashimaya-mae.
In addition, there are buses bound for Harumi from Shimbashi Station and Yotsuya Station, but the advantage of using these bus routes is that you can enjoy the cityscape from the train window. Since it is a route that crosses the middle of Ginza through Harumi-dori St., you can come while enjoying the bustle of Ginza and Tsukiji holidays.
*In addition, on May 1, some bus routes may be suspended or detoured due to traffic restrictions accompanying May Day. Please be aware of the latest information when using the service.

●Access to feel the breeze of early summer …Use the Chuo-ku Community Cycle
If the weather is nice, it is recommended that you come by bicycle while feeling the early summer breeze.
Triton Square, where Dai-ichi Life Hall is located, has a "Chuo-ku Community Cycle" port along the Asashio Canal, so you can access it using it.
From the Tsukiji area, cross Kachidokibashi, a nationally designated important cultural property, or cross the Tsukiji Ohashi, where provisional service has begun.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the view from the neighboring Toyosu area of Koto-ku across Harumi Ohashi and Toyosu Ohashi.…
You can think of various routes!
Check out SNS!
Since there was a concert to appear in Chuo-ku, which is active as a correspondent, I introduced it for a long time (^^;)
Again, all four performances are free to enter, all seats are free, enter and exit between songs, so you can easily enjoy classical music, so the schedule for 10 consecutive holidays has not been decided! It's also recommended for those who want to do it.
We look forward to your visit!
I couldn't introduce all the songs in this article.
We send detailed information on the following SNS, so I hope you can check it out!
