Egg Gourmet I found in Tsukiji

According to the Japan Anniversary Association, February 5 is "Boiled Egg Day".
I always liked egg dishes, but in a cooking book, I learned how to make boiled eggs well that professionals are doing, and boiled eggs have become my specialty.

Well. Speaking of eggs in Chuo-ku, Tsukiji is.
The connection between Tsukiji and eggs became stronger at the end of the Taisho era, shortly after the wholesale market moved from Nihonbashi to Tsukiji. It was the beginning of the first place that a specialty store selling Atsuyaki eggs was introduced to the general of a sushi restaurant who came to Tsukiji to buy fresh seafood. "Kushitama", which is made of egg-yaki from those specialty stores, is now a representative food for the Tsukiji Outer Market.
This time, I would like to introduce other "Tsukiji Egg Gourmet" instead of egg-yaki, which already has many blogs and reviews.

Perfect for TKG! Shinkai Shoji's recommended "Nasu Gyokuro"

In order to find egg gourmet, the correspondent RIEdel first went to Shinkai Shoji, a wholesale egg manufacturer. It is located in the Odawara Bridge building on the Tsukiji Fish Bank.
Since it is a shop that sells eggs with excellent freshness, I asked the shop about the eggs that are perfect for TKG (tamagoke rice).
Here's what I recommend.

432 yen (tax included) in Inami Shoten Egg Studio "Nasu Miyogo Pole"

It is nutritious because it uses natural feed prescribed by Chinese medicine, and vitamin D is about three times that of ordinary eggs and about 30 times that of vitamin E.
When I tried it, the color of the yolk is surprisingly dark, and it is closer to orange rather than yellow.

When I cooked it over hot rice, the rice was dyed orange so beautiful that it could be seen as ketchup rice. This egg is especially recommended for TKG lovers who want to taste the rich sweetness of eggs.

tsukiji SHOURO's "Tamagoyakiya no Shukurimu"

Among Tsukiji egg gourmets, there is a shop where attention has risen sharply for the past six months.
Tsukiji SHOURO, a sweets specialty store opened by Matsuro last summer.

tsukiji SHOURO at the intersection of Harumi-dori St. and Shin-ohashi-dori St.

The egg tart in collaboration with the Chinese master Chef Wakiya is also delicious, but RIEdel's recommendation is after all, "Shukurimu of the egg yaki restaurant".

With custard cream with a firm egg feeling, your tongue is satisfied first. And the yellow proof of using plenty of high-quality eggs can be seen inside the Shoo skin, and the eyes are satisfied. It's a cream puff that makes a voice that doesn't just say "Mufufufu" while eating.

By the way, there is such a wonderful board picture in the shop of Tsukiji SHOURO.

When I asked the clerk, I heard that I asked graphic designer Shogo Seki.
It is a pine tree named after the name of Shoro. The pine is made of golden eggs. It is said that it depicts the gathering of forest animals such as squirrels, rabbits, penguins, bears, etc., in the light emitted by the egg.
Also, according to the author Shogo Seki, if two pieces from the left of this board painting are rearranged to the right, Japanese giant flying squirrel (the leftmost, actually flying toward the outside) will reunite with the squirrel. It's a story. It's a very fashionable device.

There is a golden egg like a treasure in the box of Shukureum.

Tsukiji SHOURO, a shop where you can not only buy egg-flavored sweets, but also enjoy wonderful stories.
Some people may want to go to the shop as soon as they read this, but wait a moment. The sweets in this shop do not use preservatives, so the expiration date is very short. When I bought Shukuremu, I was told, "Please eat it today." If you would like to purchase at a store, please calculate the timing of buying and eating and visit the store.

Oh, sir. Tamagozuka of Tsukijiha Shrine

If you give eggs at Tsukiji, there is a place that you should not forget.
This is the Tamagozuka in the precincts of Tsukijihaku Shrine.

It was built in 1993 by the Tokyo Keiran Processing Association to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its founding, and on the pedestal part, Osada, Tamahachi Shoten, Tsukiji, which still has shops in out-of-office markets as a specialty store for egg-yaki, is engraved. Every October, thanks to the eggs used for cooking, it is said that a memorial service is held with egg-yaki.

By the way, the reason why the word "egg" instead of "egg" is used in Tsukaname is that this mound was built because it is a union of shops that process eggs.
According to JA Zenno Egg Co., Ltd., eggs and eggs have the following differences.

"One character" egg "is the eggs of creatures that hatch and grow.
Not only birds, but also eggs of fish and insects are written as "eggs".
On the other hand, the two-letter "egg" refers to edible ones, and it is common to represent chicken eggs."

In other words, it is appropriate to write "Egg mound" instead of "Egg mound" for mounds built by associations that process edible eggs.

This time, we introduced two dishes, raw egg and cream puff, but there are still many delicious egg dishes in Tsukiji. I want you to come to find your own egg gourmet while walking along the alleys of the off-site market.
