In March, I began to feel the sign of spring little by little. According to the information at the beginning of March, the expected flowering date of cherry blossoms in Tokyo is March 23. There are several famous cherry blossom spots in Chuo-ku, but Shinkawa Park on the right bank of the Sumida River is lined with cherry blossoms in a wide area overlooking the large river surface, Eitai Bridge, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Tsukuda area, etc. I think it is a great place.
Shinkawa Park is located on the Super dike. Super dike is dike, which is significantly wider than its height, in simple terms of shape. It will be integrated with the town development along the dike. In the unlikely event that a river overflows, the embankment will be hard to break, the river will penetrate water, and the dike will be resistant to earthquakes.
I don't think we can have a cherry blossom viewing party in the park because the COVID-19 pandemic has not settled yet, but it will be a problem to take a walk smoothly. It's almost spring. Why don't you try it? (From Candy's "Spring No. 1")
