"Seed," Kenta Hanai Ceramics Exhibition
~ Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store izutuki~
Remotely navigate the beloved Chuo-ku, rosemary sea.
From Thursday, April 28 to May 26 (Thursday), "Tane" Kenta Hanai Ceramics Exhibition is being held at the attached gallery izutuki, a long-established knife shop Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store.
This time, I also took care of Mr. Abe, Kiya Nihonbashi Main Store Co., Ltd.
At the same time, Mr. Oba, who is in charge of izutuki, also guided us.
Small, but powerful seeds and fruit shapes.
These are the origins of the form, that is, the seeds of shape.
Please enjoy the shape reminiscent of the fruits and seeds of nature and the scenery of glaze.
・・・ This is the second pottery exhibition by Kenta Hanai at Nihonbashi Kiya Main Store, following last year.
This time, the main vases are vases based on the concept of molding inspired by plant seeds.
Each item has a different texture because it is handmade one by one.
In addition, please forgive us when it is sold out.
・・Let's introduce the work.
Moss glazed flower
(The image is one of the beginnings.)
It is as simple as a seed, and is attracted to a shape that has swelling and strength like a seed.
With not too assertive and deep-weight presence, it brings out flower materials to a simple look.
Iron glaze line crest flower vase (Tetsuyu Senmonkaki)
By adding a line crest, it emphasizes a small but firm shape.
I imagine patterns and lines that go along the bulge of fruits and seeds.
Moss glazed flower
Imagine the tight shape that looks like the seeds are tightly packed and the energy that blows out from it.
A clean, voluminous shape will enhance the flower material vividly.
Moss glaze (Tagenyuuki)
After winter, the snow melted, and the dead camellia fruits and seeds that did not know when they fell.
I think of the beauty of the wavy figure.
Flowers can be expressed by using Mt. Tsurugi or oasis.
Moss glazed flower
A plant that wraps around the trees in the garden out of nowhere and hangs something like a bulky flower.
When I looked into what it was, it was a wild potato seedling.
I feel adorable in the crunchy appearance.
It has a look that suits wild flowers and Japanese flowers.
Moss glazed flower
If you find an empty seed shell, you will be worried about what kind of seeds were contained in it.
It has a unique shape as a vase, but it has a calm glaze color so it harmonizes unexpectedly.
I would like you to try a variety of flower materials.
Squirrel
A slightly long shape that is easy to pick up.
The seeds obtained from the lotus that grows every year became a hint.
It's large enough to drink.
Japanese pepper
It shows how the Japanese pepper fruit popped.
A shape that is often used for small bowls and delicacies.
Sheet plate (small)
In my daily creations, I repeat various prototypes.
This is one of them.
Decorate the seeds of ideas picked up in the garden.
I put some condiments and try to arrange some pieces.
You can use it freely.
A single vase
A cute single vase with a colony shape.
The color that enhances the flowers.
Why don't you enjoy living with flowers?
