If you miss Waseda-Keio Regatta, why not watch a boating competition at "Umi no Mori"?

This year, the venue will be moved from Todakoen in Saitama Prefecture to "Umi no Mori", and the 100th All Japan Championship will be held.

The forest of the sea?

The "Tokyo Gate Bridge" can be seen from buildings near Reimei Bridge in Harumi.

As shown in this photo, "Umi no Mori" is on the right hand side of "Tokyo Gate Bridge" after passing through Harumi-dori St.

"Umi no Mori" is a sea forest water stadium located in the sea forest of Koto-ku, which is now in Chuo-ku.
The Tokyo 2020 Games boating and canoeing (sprinting) competitions were held, and I participated in boating volunteer activities from home on a metropolitan bus.

How to enjoy the "Umi no Mori Water Stadium"

How to enjoy the "Umi no Mori Water Stadium" All Japan Boat Championship

The boat passes every 10 minutes. While watching the dynamism of rowing crews, you may encounter a number of landscapes that can only be seen on your travel destination, such as airplanes flying directly above the venue, large ships sailing under the bridge, and container trailers.

During the period when access to the sea forest is very convenient, feel the scenery and sound of "I saw it because it was this timing!"

Water and Green Chuo-ku

Water and Green Chuo-ku All Japan Boat Championship

The waterside of Chuo-ku is rich in greenery, making it a comfortable place to relax. If you can see a boat or canoeing when you look at the river, you will have a new opportunity to get acquainted with water with your friends through water sports.

Looking at the Waseda-Keio Regatta the other day, I thought that the fluttering Sumida River estuary was also a good place to train players. The ergometer used by athletes in practice may be able to nurture Japanese water athletes who fight the world in the middle of the city center if they can incorporate elements of esports.

Volunteer activities for the Tokyo 2020 Games were active in the same group with the 81-year-old. Some of these generations still row boats three times a week to participate in the Masters Tournament with their friends. Even if I have no experience in competing, participating in volunteer activities is endless and fun encounters come every time.

The All Japan Boat Championship will be an event in Koto-ku, but this time I told you that I would like everyone to explore the appeal of boating that can be enjoyed for generations while watching the Sumida River.

The water quality of the Sumida River has also been improved. For the latest data, you can check the water quality data by searching for "Chuo-ku River Water Quality Survey".
