After planting tea project in Ginza

Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, which was planted in the Ginza tea project, is a tea in the Kaida area. About two months after planting, at the end of April and the end of May, I went to Matsuya Ginza's rooftop to see the situation. Here's the situation at the end of April.

Please see my article, https://tokuhain.chuo-kanko.or.jp/detail.php?id=2862 for details on the history and appearance of the tree planting.

By the end of May

At the end of April, the color of the shoot was still thin, but at the end of May, the fresh green itself!
In particular, the adult tree on the left end is growing vigorously and buds are growing rapidly. Wakagi, who was a little worried about whether it took root, is spreading the green leaves firmly.
Trees that seem to have died are no good, the leaves are dropped once and power saves, and a few leaves are waiting for the time in standby (Is it the rainy season?) It looks like that.

Choose tea

Choosing Tea Project in Ginza after planting

Matsuya Ginza should have a new tea, so from the rooftop to the grocery store on the first basement floor.

There are several Japanese tea shops on the first basement floor, and among them, "Chanoha" has a cafe where you can get https://www.matsuya.com/ginza/restaurant/chanoha/, tea and Japanese sweets.
At the end of April, only new tea from Kagoshima arrived, but now new teas from all over Japan are lined up. There are also tea bags for each piece of tea according to production area and production method (sencha, hojicha, etc.), so you can choose and find your favorite taste.

After all, my hands reach the green tea of Makinohara.
Because the tea plantation tea that the Shogunate, who was forced to move from Edo to Shizuoka during the Meiji Restoration, struggled to open up. Chuo-ku, which developed as a castle town of Edo Castle, is favored as a tourist correspondent.
I was reminded of the shining green tea plantation of Makinohara against the backdrop of Mount Fuji.

I want the tea tree of the tea project in Ginza to grow strong.
I'm going to see it from time to time!
